I'm working on a new quilt for Brendan's bed. My mom bought a 2 yard piece of Thomas the Train fabric and asked me to make something for him. So, to keep things as simple as possible, I left the whole fabric piece intact and added coordinating borders to make it a full sized bed quilt top. Instead of wrestling a quilt this large through my machine for quilting or taking it to a long arm quilter, I've decided to tie this thing. I was hoping tying it would be a quick process but it seems to be taking forever. I hope Brendan doesn't outgrow his "Thomas" phase before I can finish!
